London (Web Desk) - Prince William and Kate Middleton are back at Baftas. The Prince and Princess of Wales made their highly anticipated return to the awards red carpet for the first time since 2020 on Sunday.

In a one-shoulder Alexander McQueen gown, the royal looked glamorous with her husband of 40, the head of the BAFTA.

Middleton dress, which she wore earlier, had a cinched waist and one-shoulder cape detail, and she paired it with $27 Zara earrings and black opera gloves.

She added a small black clutch and gold heels and dropped her smooth black hair down her back.

The couple missed out on last year's TV and film awards due to scheduling conflicts . A year ago,

Prince William, who was due to speak at a virtual event, stepped down following the death of Prince Philip.

The last BAFTA outfit Middleton wore in 2020 was the white and gold Alexander McQueen gown she wore during her visit to Malaysia in 2012.
